  • Versatile Planting: Ideal for garden beds, borders, woodland gardens, and naturalized areas, providing flexibility in your garden design.

Planting Instructions:

  1. Soil Preparation: Choose a well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Foxgloves prefer partial shade to full sun and thrive in cool, moist conditions.
  2. Sowing Seeds: Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost date. Scatter seeds on the surface of the soil and lightly press them in without covering, as they need light to germinate.
  3. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist during germination. After seedlings emerge, water regularly to maintain even moisture but avoid waterlogging.
  4. Transplanting: When seedlings have at least two sets of true leaves and the danger of frost has passed, transplant them outdoors, spacing them 12-18 inches apart.
  5. Growing: Apply a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every four to six weeks to promote healthy growth and abundant blooms. Support tall flower spikes with stakes if necessary.
  6. Maintenance: Mulch around plants to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage prolonged blooming. Allow some flowers to go to seed for natural reseeding.
