Known for its sweet, fragrant flavor and high nutritional value, guava is a beloved fruit that’s enjoyed fresh, in juices, or in desserts. Growing your own guava tree is a fulfilling experience that rewards you with beautiful, fragrant blossoms and bountiful, delicious fruits.

Key Features:

  • High-Quality Seeds: Carefully selected from the best guava fruits to ensure excellent germination and growth.
  • Delicious Flavor: Enjoy the sweet, tropical taste of guava, perfect for snacking, smoothies, or culinary creations.
  • Nutrient-Dense: Guava is rich in vitamins, particularly Vitamin C, antioxidants, and dietary fiber, making it a healthy addition to your diet.
  • Versatile Growth: Guava trees thrive in warm climates and can be grown both outdoors and in large containers indoors.
  • Fragrant Blossoms: Guava trees produce beautiful, aromatic flowers, adding a decorative element to your garden.

Planting Instructions:

  1. Seed Preparation: Soak the guava seeds in warm water for 24 hours to soften the seed coat and improve germination rates.

  2. Planting: Fill a small pot with well-draining, sandy or loamy soil. Plant the soaked seeds about 1/2 inch deep in the soil. Cover lightly with soil and water thoroughly.

  3. Location: Place the pot in a warm, sunny location. Guava seeds require consistent warmth, ideally between 25-30°C (77-86°F), to germinate.

  4. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water regularly, allowing the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings.

  5. Germination Time: Germination can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months. Ensure the soil remains warm and moist to encourage successful sprouting.

  6. Transplanting: Once the seedlings have developed several strong roots and leaves, they can be transplanted into larger pots or directly into the ground in a warm, frost-free climate. Choose a location with full sun and well-drained soil.

  7. Care: Guava trees thrive in warm, tropical climates and require regular watering, especially during dry periods. Fertilize every 2-3 months with a balanced fertilizer. Prune the tree to shape it and remove any dead or overcrowded branches. Protect young trees from frost and extreme cold.
